Can I cancel at any time?

Yes, you can cancel at any time. To cancel, simply call our office and one of our IRA Consultants will help you to transfer or disburse your account.

 How are fees charged?

Fees are taken from your GROUPIRA account. No action is required on your part, and we will never charge fees if you do not have an account balance.

Our convenient online account origination system enables you to open an IRA in 10 minutes or less.

How do I claim a retirement plan account from my former employer?

Under certain circumstances, employers may automatically distribute the accounts of participants from workplace retirement plans. In such instances, the employer appoints an automatic IRA service provider track the account. Many employers engage GROUPIRA to serve as the automatic IRA service provider for workplace retirement plans.

Claiming your account is easy. If your account was automatically distributed from your former employer's workplace retirement plan to GROUPIRA, simply call our office during regular business hours. One of our IRA Consultants will confirm your information and will be happy to help you.

How do I fund my account?

After your account is opened, you can fund it through a:

  1. one-time contribution from your bank account,
  2. recuring monthly contribution from your bank account,
  3. rollover contribution from eligible sources, such as workplace retirement plans (ex. 401k plans, defined benefit pension plans, profit sharing plans, etc.), or
  4. transfer from an IRA with another provider

If you have questions or need assistance, please feel free to contact us and one of our IRA Concierges will be happy to assist you.
